1.Introduction
Welcome to the 2Coach Marketplace.
The Marketplace allows eligible Athletes to discover training plans, purchase coaching services where available, and access training content offered by independent Coaches through the 2Coach platform.
This Athlete Marketplace Policy explains how Marketplace purchases work, what Athletes receive when making a purchase, and how Marketplace transactions relate to coaching relationships and access to training.
This Policy supplements our:
- Terms of Service;
- Privacy Policy; and
- Community Guidelines.
If there is any conflict between this Policy and the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service will prevail unless expressly stated otherwise.
1.1Purpose of this Policy
The purpose of this Policy is to explain:
- how Marketplace purchases work;
- what Athletes are purchasing;
- how Training Access is granted;
- how Commercial Subscriptions operate;
- how renewals and cancellations work;
- how Coach Relationships interact with Marketplace purchases; and
- what happens when a subscription changes or ends.
1.2Purchasing Through the Marketplace
Eligible Marketplace plans may be purchased through the payment methods supported by the Service.
Before completing a purchase, Athletes should carefully review:
- the Coach offering the plan;
- the description of the service;
- the billing frequency, if applicable;
- the price;
- any renewal terms;
- any cancellation terms; and
- any other information displayed on the Marketplace listing.
Completing a purchase constitutes acceptance of the applicable commercial terms presented during checkout.
2.What You Are Purchasing
A Marketplace purchase does not transfer ownership of a training program or establish an employment or agency relationship between Takum and either party.
Instead, a Marketplace purchase provides the rights and services described in the applicable Marketplace listing.
Depending on the offering, this may include:
- access to one or more training programs;
- coaching services;
- workout assignments;
- progress monitoring;
- communication features available through the Service; or
- other services described by the Coach.
The exact scope of the purchase depends on the Marketplace listing.
3.Coach Relationship
A Coach Relationship represents the coaching connection between an Athlete and a Coach within 2Coach.
A Coach Relationship determines how coaching features operate, including program assignments, progress tracking, and other training functionality.
A Coach Relationship may exist:
- after a Marketplace purchase;
- through a direct invitation from a Coach; or
- through other features supported by the Service.
A Coach Relationship is distinct from a Commercial Subscription.
4.Training Access
Training Access determines whether an Athlete can access training content and coaching functionality within the Service.
Training Access may be granted in different ways.
For example:
- a Coach may assign training directly;
- Training Access may result from a Marketplace purchase;
- Training Access may be granted through another feature supported by the Service.
Training Access does not necessarily require an active Commercial Subscription.
Likewise, an active Commercial Subscription does not automatically guarantee continued Training Access if access is suspended or otherwise limited under the Terms of Service or applicable Marketplace rules.
5.Commercial Subscription
Some Marketplace offerings include a Commercial Subscription.
A Commercial Subscription represents the commercial arrangement governing recurring payments for eligible Marketplace services.
Commercial Subscriptions may include recurring billing, renewal terms, and cancellation conditions disclosed during the purchase process.
Commercial Subscriptions exist solely for commercial purposes.
They do not define the Coach Relationship and should not be interpreted as the sole source of Training Access.
6.Renewals
Some Marketplace purchases automatically renew until cancelled.
Where automatic renewal applies, the applicable renewal terms will be presented before the initial purchase is completed.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, renewal charges will be processed using the payment method associated with the subscription.
Athletes are responsible for maintaining valid payment information with the applicable payment provider.
7.Cancellations
Athletes may cancel eligible Commercial Subscriptions in accordance with the cancellation options available through the Service.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly stated by Takum, cancelling a Commercial Subscription prevents future renewal charges but does not automatically generate a refund for payments already processed.
Cancellation may affect future Training Access depending on the Marketplace offering purchased.
8.Changing Coaches
Athletes are free to choose the Coach with whom they wish to train, subject to the functionality available within the Service.
Changing Coaches may affect:
- Coach Relationships;
- Training Access;
- Marketplace purchases;
- Commercial Subscriptions;
- assigned training programs; and
- other coaching features.
The consequences of changing Coaches depend on the Athlete’s current Marketplace activity and the services associated with the applicable Coach.
Where necessary, the Service may require additional actions to complete the transition.
9.When a Commercial Subscription Ends
When a Commercial Subscription expires, is cancelled, or otherwise terminates, the commercial relationship associated with that subscription ends.
The effect on Training Access depends on how that access was originally granted.
For example:
- some Training Access may end together with the Commercial Subscription;
- some Training Access may continue if independently maintained by the Coach;
- some Marketplace features may no longer be available.
The Service will determine the applicable behavior based on the Athlete’s current Coach Relationship, Training Access, and Marketplace status.
10.Refunds
Marketplace purchases are subject to the refund policy described in the Terms of Service.
Unless required by applicable law or expressly authorized by Takum, Marketplace purchases are non-refundable.
Submitting a cancellation request does not automatically entitle an Athlete to a refund.
11.Athlete Responsibilities
Athletes are responsible for:
- reviewing Marketplace listings before purchasing;
- maintaining accurate payment information;
- complying with the Terms of Service and Community Guidelines;
- communicating honestly with Coaches;
- using purchased services only as authorized; and
- respecting the intellectual property of Coaches and other users.
Marketplace purchases may not be transferred, resold, sublicensed, or shared unless expressly permitted by the Service.
12.Our Commitment
Takum is committed to providing a transparent Marketplace where Athletes understand exactly what they are purchasing and how Marketplace transactions interact with coaching relationships and training.
The Marketplace is designed to clearly distinguish between Coach Relationships, Training Access, and Commercial Subscriptions, allowing each concept to evolve independently while providing a consistent and trustworthy experience for both Athletes and Coaches.
